Balvenie 10 Year Old Founders Reserve (70cl, 40%)

Created by Balvenie’s Malt Master, David Stewart, the founder's reserve is a classic 10 year old Balvenie matured in both Bourbon casks and sherry casks, then married (a process of further maturation after mixing the two). The founder's reserve is now discontinued after being in the core range since the 1980s. Upon opening the aromas of citrus, hops, ginger and honey, the palate is honey, apple, oats, vanilla, and oak with a medium finish of apple, hops, ginger and oak.
