This is an energetic and rich single malt whisky. Full-bodied, with marshmallow-like sweetness and malty tones, followed by a long-lasting gently smoky finish. As the story goes, this scotch is bottled at 46% ABV as a nod to one of the earlier George Grants, who wanted to balance the taste of the drink against getting enough out of a special Christmas release to go around the whole family.
