GlenKieth started making whisky in 1958 and was the first distillery to open in 60 years since the ‘whisky crash’ of 1898, Today GlenKeith belongs to Pernod Ricard and is mainly used in its many blends, such as 100 Pipers, Chivas Regal and Passport. In 1999 GlenKeith Distillery was mothballed making all the bottling before reasonably sought after, and in 2013 after a refurbishment GlenKeith Distillery resumed operations to this current day. Once opened the aromas of fresh lawn, fruit basket and mixed spice meet your nose, the palate is honeyed, fruity, red chilly and vanilla with a short finish of honey and oak.
