In pursuit of whisky perfection Glenmorangie sourced the finest White Oak from Ozark, Missouri in the United States to make the perfect cask, one that would deepen and enrich the Whisky in is ageing. Astar in Scots Gaelic means ‘Journey’, The journey of this Whisky to perfection. The heat of ginger with an added nutty flavour comes solely from the fine Oak with whisps of honeycomb and caramel and a vanilla and mint to finish. This whisky was discontinued in 2012 due to lack of such fine White Oak and is perfect in any whisky collection.
