This is the 6th and final release of the Macallan series and it was created to celebrate the nature surrounding the Macallan Estate. The legendary River Spey is flowing through the area and whisky maker Steven Bremner drew inspiration from it as well as surrounding landscapes when he hand-picked casks for this single malt. Presented in a beautiful light-blue bottle this whisky will pleasantly surprise you with its well-balanced rich palate.
Tasting Notes
Rich. Lots of fruity notes alongside ginger, chocolate, toffee, vanilla and oak aromas
Sweet and pleasant. Orange and plum notes dovetail into nutty hints along with oak and oats flavours
Long and fresh. Fruity aftertaste with hints of chocolate and spices
