Windsor – 17 Year Old (Super Premium) (50cl, 40%)

Windsor is a trademark owned by Diageo and intended for the South Korean markets it is well recognised thereby its clear spirits, uniquely shaped bottles and its smooth light palate. It is so attuned to the Korean market that in 2012 a 35% abv. was launched in line with growing trends on that side of the world. This bottle of Windsor Super Premium is 40% abv. and smells of tropical fruit, rich soil and flowers, on the palate sweet fruit compote and barley with a little salt, ending in a medium finish with charred oak, barley and pepper. An easy drink and an unlikely but pleasant piece in a whisky collection.
